Lapland in April – What to Expect

April is the month of spring light. Snow is still deep, but the sun warms faces and softens the air.
Ski resorts stay open, but reindeer and husky safaris slow down as animals rest.

Days are long – up to 16 hours of light. Nights are shorter, auroras rarer, but sunsets linger in pastel colors.
Temperatures range from −5 °C to +5 °C, sometimes melting begins.
